How do you make an infinite loop on TikTok?
Cut the clip so the last frame flows into the first, then post it as normal. TikTok replays it, and if the join is invisible it looks endless. Find the best loop finds the cut for you.

Find the cut where the ending runs straight back into the opening, check the join frame by frame, and export a vertical clip that seems to have no end.
A TikTok loop video, often called a loop edit, is cut so its last frame flows straight into its first, and when TikTok replays it the viewer can’t tell where it ended. To make one, open the clip here: Find the best loop runs straight away and picks the cut, Watch the join lets you check it, the shape is already 9:16, and you export a single pass.
The best loop edits are planned while filming, so the shot naturally returns to where it began. Below is how to shoot for one, how to read the match score, and how to keep the sound from giving the join away.
Nothing is uploaded: the clip is cut and exported in your browser, free and without a watermark.
Tap Choose video on a phone or click Select video on a computer. Use the original file from your camera roll, not a screen recording.
On this page Find the best loop starts as soon as the clip opens. It reports Excellent match, Good match, Fair match or Poor match with a percentage and moves Loop start and Loop end to the cut it found.
Press Watch the join (J) to see the end meet the start. Nudge either handle with the arrow keys, one frame at a time, or step through frames with “,” and “.”.
Shape under More options is set to 9:16. Drag the preview or use Position to keep the action in the middle of the vertical frame.
Leave Number of times at 1 and click Export video. On a phone, tap Share or save to Photos, then upload the video in TikTok.
A loop edit hides its own ending. The final moment of the video sets up the first, so when the app plays it again the action just carries on. People who don’t spot the restart often find themselves halfway through a second viewing before they notice.
Many creators make loop edits hoping rewatches help a video travel further. TikTok doesn’t publish how much a replay counts, so treat that as a possibility rather than a rule. The reliable benefit is that a clean loop is pleasant to watch twice, and a clumsy one isn’t.
Software can only choose from the frames you give it. Find the best loop can’t invent a loop in footage that never returns to where it began, so it pays to set one up while filming.
Find the best loop compares frames across the whole clip and picks the start and end whose join is smallest. The label and percentage tell you how close that join is.
Shortest loop stops the search settling on a sliver of the clip. For TikTok, 2 s or 4 s keeps the loop long enough to watch. To loop one section of a longer recording instead, set the handles by hand; loop part of a video explains that workflow.
Ears pick up a jump faster than eyes. A word cut in half, a beat that stumbles or background noise that suddenly changes will reveal a loop even when the picture is perfect.
With Sound on Original, Smooth the sound at the join is on by default and blends the last moment of audio into the first. Choose cut points in a pause between words rather than mid-sentence, and with a Crossfade the sound fades across with the picture.
If you plan to add a sound from TikTok’s library, the clip’s own audio matters less; export with Sound Off if you don’t want it in the file at all. If you want your own music in the file instead, see loop a video with music, and check you have the rights to use the track.
TikTok replays the video for you. Exporting the loop five times only makes a longer post in which the same moment comes round repeatedly, which is exactly what a loop edit tries to hide. One pass with an invisible join gives the endless effect at the shortest length. If you do want a longer video, raise Number of times, but the join then needs to be just as clean, since it appears several times in a row.
The same clip often works on Instagram too; the Instagram loop video page covers Reels, Stories and the 4:5 feed shape.

No one outside TikTok can say for certain. Many creators believe rewatches help, but TikTok doesn’t publish the details. A clean loop is still more enjoyable to watch, which is worth having either way.
The end and start frames differ, usually because the camera moved or the light changed. Try Find the best loop for a closer pair, add Blend or a Crossfade, or reshoot on a tripod.
Short loops of a few seconds to around fifteen seconds are easiest to hide, because there is less time for the camera or light to drift. Set Shortest loop so the search doesn’t pick something too brief.
Use the original file from your phone. loop.video can’t download videos from TikTok or other websites.
Vertical 9:16, which fills a phone screen. This page opens with Shape set to 9:16; drag the preview to choose what stays in frame.
