What is an A-B loop?
It is a repeat between two points in a video: A where the section starts and B where it ends. Playback jumps from B back to A until you stop it. loop.video lets you save that section repeated as a new file.

Mark a few seconds anywhere in a clip, frame by frame, and save just that section on repeat as a file you can play on any device.
To loop part of a video, open it here and drag the Loop start and Loop end handles around the section you want, or move the playhead and press Set start (I) and Set end (O). Press Play loop (Space) to watch it repeat, then export with Number of times set to ×10 or any count you like.
This is an A-B loop that you keep. Media players can repeat a section while you watch, but the setting lives in that player on that device. Exporting the section as its own file means it plays on repeat on your phone, a TV or a tablet propped on a music stand, without setting points again each time.
Selection is frame-accurate, nothing is uploaded, and the tool is free with no watermark.
Press Select video (on a phone, Choose video) or drop the file on Drop a video to loop. The strip under the preview fills with thumbnails of the whole clip.
Play or scrub to where the section begins and press Set start (I). For precision, step with "," and "." one frame at a time first, or type a time into the Start box.
Move to where the section finishes and press Set end (O), or drag the Loop end handle. With a handle selected, the arrow keys move it one frame and Shift+arrows one second.
Press Play loop (Space) to watch the section cycle, and Watch the join (J) to see the exact moment the end jumps back to the start.
Under Repeat, choose Number of times and tap ×10 (or enter up to 999), press Export video, then Download video when Your video is ready appears.
A section that starts a few frames late or ends a few frames early is irritating to practise with, because every repeat clips the beginning of the move or the first note. The loop strip gives you several ways to get the boundaries exactly where you want them, and you can mix them.
A good habit is to start the section a beat or a breath before the part you are learning. That small run-up makes each repeat easier to follow, and it gives the eye a moment to settle after the jump back.
Loop one eight-count rather than the whole routine. You get the same few seconds back over and over without reaching for the screen between attempts, and once that count feels comfortable you can export the next one.
Trim the section to start on the first note of the riff and end just before it comes round again, so the repeat lands in time. Keep Smooth the sound at the join on to avoid a click at each restart, or turn it off if you want to hear exactly where the cut falls.
A golf swing, a serve or a tumbling pass is over in two or three seconds. Looped ten or twenty times, you can watch one part of the body on each pass: feet first, then hips, then hands.
loop.video does not change playback speed, so the exported section runs at its real pace. Many players can play a file slower, which pairs well with a looped section when you need to see the detail.
Media players such as VLC have an A-B repeat that replays a stretch while you watch; the loop video in VLC guide shows how to use it. That suits a one-off session on a computer. The points disappear when you close the file, and they do not travel with it to your phone.
An exported section is a normal video file. It plays on repeat in any player, can be sent to a student or a team mate, and opens straight to the part that matters. Because the count is set when you export (×10 is a good starting point for practice), the file has a definite length and does not need any player setting at all. For one section played for a long, fixed time, set Length instead of a count.

Yes. Step with "," and ".", or select a handle and use the arrow keys to move it one frame. Shift+arrows move it one second.
Not in loop.video, which keeps the original speed. Export the section here, then use your player’s playback speed setting if you need it slower.
Any count from 1 to 999 with Number of times, up to the three-hour export limit. You can also choose Length to fill a set time.
No. loop.video only opens files on your device and cannot fetch videos from YouTube or other sites. The guide on how to loop a YouTube video covers what YouTube itself offers.
No. Only the section between Loop start and Loop end is exported, repeated as many times as you set. Your original file is not changed.
With Smooth the sound at the join on, the last moment of sound blends into the first, which removes the click. You can turn it off to hear the hard cut.
